Not only do I have no interest in the Oscars, but I don't think I've ever met anyone who has any interest in them. Are these Oscar-luvvies living in some alternate universe?

I don't usually watch them, so no need to boycott them...

I have never watched them but I am non plussed by the current debacle. I was under the impression that they were awarded on merit to recognize the best work. Now apparently a certain number should go to people of color, just because they are people of color not based on their work or talent.
Equality but not on equal terms.

I'm pretty sure I'll be asleep. That doesn't mean I'm boycotting them. It just means I couldn't care less.

Can't recall the last time I watched the Oscars so I won't be watching this one either. Don't care about it.

Will Smith's bird.
I never watch the Oscars, because it's the biggest WGAF-fest going. That being said, it's a competition. Competition by it's own definition precludes any kind of equal opportunities. If everyone's a winner, nobody's a winner. This is butthurt of the highest magnitude. Morgan Freeman, Denzel Washington, Halle Berry have all won oscars anyway. She's just bitching because her bloke or their irritating little shit of a son of theirs hasn't won one yet.

I could start watching them so that I could boycott them ? No - I think I have other important things to do. Does these people think that if only Lenny Henry was awarded a prize the world would be hunky-dory ? Baaaaaah!

Lenny Henry is not an African-American, the articles I have read have stipulated the lack of African-American nominees. Mr Henry will not suffice.

I never watch the Oscars and I don't care if black movies like "Straight outta Compton" or "Creed" get passed over. Most of what Hollywood produce these days is pure drivel anyway, black or white.
Whenever we go to a movie we have to sit through a dozen previews of movies that would insult the intelligence of a baboon
