He's just activated stealth mode there. Mine does the same, but only this morning he sprung into action trying to eliminate the very clear and present threat of a beanie baby keychain thingy hanging off my daughter's backpack ...

I suppose, to be fair, I should mention that all the dangerous pens and pencils that lurk on tables, desks and counters etc have all been rendered safe and hidden under the fridge.

That's male cats. Spend 23 hours a day sleeping and 1 hour a day vanquishing various household item foes to underneath furniture and appliances.
