Hypertweeky -
No, not mad, just bored with DeFaria - he is one of those guys that makes it his business to get under the skin of as many people as possible. This forum was designed and built with the intention of giving people the opportunity to get the help they need to get through a very tough process. DeFaria does his utmost to make things MORE difficult for people by arguing about EVERYTHING with EVERYBODY. I don't find that helpful. And, frankly, I don't believe many others who frequent this forum do, either. I have, therefore, decided to not waste any more of my valuable time having conversations with him. I think that if others did the same, he might go away. In my opinion, he is little better than a troll. And that's all I have to say about that, for NOW ;^).

If he's on the clock when posting, isn't that basically theft from the employer? (Truth be told, I used to wonder the same thing about Rita).
Yes, I post a lot too, but I'm self employed so I'm not stealing anything from an employer.
OK, lets be honest now. How many people here have ever posted from work while on the clock?

(And if you are an immigrant doing this, will you eventually list this on your I-485 or N-400 as a crime committed but one for which you have not been arrested ;-)

That's up to my employer to complain about. As it is they don't. We are
a startup. We may not be in business much longer. Work is slow so I have
time to kill. I've largely automated most of my tasks so my employer has
been getting vast benefits from that in the first place. But if we were
in crunch mode I would be attending to that and not posting here. And
quite frankly if it didn't look like our demise was eminent I would be
inventing some other automated process, business thingy or product for
my employer. As it is I am working on my own stuff at home, partly to
solve a problem for myself but mostly to sharpen my skills in ancipation
of being out there in that great job market.
Additionally I run my own domain at home and am connected 24/7 - have
been since 1998 and, as you know, I often post at night too.
And yet it strikes me that many of you post as much if not more than me.
Some are indeed in the business such as yourself, others have been
around here for a long time and will probably stay, others are here and
gone. How do you justify your own participation level? I know I post
some in the morning before heading off to work and throughout the day
there are a lot of responses. Surely you guys are posting from work too.
Me, I've grown to like law in general (The Practice is now my favorite
show) and I happen to have learned a lot about immigration law in specific.

"On the clock" while used for just about any job class now, used to
refer to hourly employees. I'm not hourly. There are times when I'm here
to late at night. There are times when I show up at noon. If there's
work that needs to be done then you dedicate extra time to it. If you've
gotten ahead then you can take a break. You manage your own "clock".
That's the true meaning of salary. I take it to heart.

Pretty funny, and yes all the time, you could say I get paid while posting......lol. Perk of sitting on "top of the food chain." Having a "minority interest" in the business helps. Sorry had to laugh a little business is good. :-)

Being an atheist all can say is: Soul?

Quite the contrary, I find no enjoyment in it at all and do not strive
to get people to hate me. It's just another misconception you have about me.

Right now I'm having vu ja de--deja vu and amnesia at the same time. I
could have sworn I forgot this before!

I never slice anybody into shreds unless they've attacked me first.
Don't want to get attacked - don't attack people. Pretty simple really...

I really think it's time to just let this one go. You aren't endearing yourself to the group with what appears to now be some sort of vendetta. Concentrate on being here with your wife and being happy, not demeaning and purposely attempting to irritate Andrew. Don't you have better things to do? Really.

Hmmm... - Does that help you? Cause that's what most people do
around here (though they just look like colons ( followed by capital
"D"'s to me but if that floats your boat...)
