Biden should have run last time. He is too old now and looking like a bumbling fool. I don't see enough people yet in the US supporting socialist policies. Not really impressed by any of the others.

If Trump wins there will be a genuine trade agreement with China. For the moment the Chinese are playing the wait and see game. Probably quite correctly they are assuming if Biden were to win any further talks on a trade agreement wont happen. Sleepy Joe would be quite happy to let the situation with China revert to what it has been for decades. As for Sanders and Warren being elected the DOW would drop 10,000 points the first week.

Thanks for the investment advice. I’ll keep it in mind... for a nanosecond maybe.

I have been of the view that if the Dems nominated somebody vaguely sane they would walk it, not sure how likely that is. Wonder what the Beto impact will be even thought he will not be the candidate"

Agreed about Biden. Sanders looks like a raving lunatic.

A few seconds adding a comma here and there, will help people make sense of what you write, rather than people having to read several times, guessing, until your meaning becomes clear. I appreciate most peoples input, but if it becomes a chore, as your posts so far have been, then people are likely to start to just scroll by. You know what you mean, so you may not notice that others might not get your meaning on first reading. A comma after academic, would have helped me. I am not trying to have a go, I understand that sometimes we just want to knock out a post, just letting you know, that sometimes, not making a bit of an effort means your input doesn't get read, or is misunderstood.

Trump has little chance of improving beyond the minority who support him. The chance to elect Sanders shouldn't be missed. If he's nominated a lot of workers who don't normally vote will be inspired to vote. The second best choice out of the candidates in the debate is Warren.

Since Sanders and Warren are both stark raving bonkers who have completely lost touch with reality then it was a fair prediction.

10,000 point drop would equal a loss in value of 37%. High to low during the Great Recession was a little over 50%. That turned out to be an amzing buying opportunity, so I guess we should vote for Warren or Sanders, follow your savvy investment advice, and buy from the low their election will cause. Cool.

Assuming you'll be left with anything to buy with once the tax rates are jacked up sky high to pay for Medicare for All and that's where the money will come from. There is no other source of funding

Oh right, I had forgotten you're a "keep your government hands off my Medicare" guy.

Primary elections don't work, it just drags everyone to the flanks and then forces then to run to the center during the general. I have no idea at this point who will be the nominee, but I know that Sanders can't win.
