The second that happens though, I don't want the 'brunch liberals' to think that's mission accomplished and go back into hiding. That's when the pressure needs to start to push him left. Holy crap, if we actually had a Democratic president who turned out to be half as badass as the Fox News fearmongering tries to make out, I would possibly die vaguely contented.

Yes. With that.

Yeah, I mean there is an argument he might at least be fascist-adjacent because he's a puppet of the oligarchy, but the closest he comes to Marxism is standing next to someone who once sat in the same chair as a person who watched Citizen Smith by accident once.

The progressives are out there, and some are winning primaries. I think possibly the Senate might be a more important election than the Presidential one this year, by a gnat's wing.

Well, after all, he is appealing to folks who are too stupid to know what pure Socialism is. Those same folks, by the way, would raise hell if you took their Social Security or Medicare away from them because it is Socialist. Moronic jack asses they are. I have lost all patience for the stupidity some idiots display.

If they paid any attention to what the actual socialists thought of the likes of Biden they'd get a rude awakening.

But for that crowd, socialism is when the government does things, and the more things the government does, the more socialisty it is.

I was hoping at least the senate might go D but looks less likely.

So nothing really changes it seems.

If they win all 9 remaining uncalled seats they make it to 51. We'll see, but another chance to flip in 2022. Looks like the House will stay D though, for now.

Well, unless the government is doing it for them. That's ok. Not sure any farmer ever refused to accept subsidies. No doubt they all lined up for their Covid money. Loads of them in red states take food stamps, welfare, and depend on Medicaid, to name a few benefits they would scream bloody murder over losing. They should all be lobotomized.
