I saw a tweet way back in the beginning where someone was accusing Trump of 'not hurting the people he was supposed to be hurting'. That's the mentality here.

I struggle daily with not being able to see these people as comrades instead of enemies, but if we're going to win over the working class in the areas we need to, that's what has to happen.

I don't disagree with you. I do, however, believe there will always be a significant number of them who will never abandon their batshit beliefs and hatred for "the others", in other words, us. We should, however, be able to get the working class back. After all, it was always Democrats that looked out for them in the past.

The ones who will never abandon their hatred are forever lost, but there are more of those working class people who found a home in the empty platitudes Republicans gave them, and who felt looked down upon by some corporatist Democrats. They can be reached with the right message.

Also, the Poles are closed. Hell of a typo there. Stable genius, my arse.

Trump is already saying the Dems are trying to steal the election and making his usual moronic threats.

He's made it pretty clear that he's not going to go quietly, if at all. Things are going to get interesting should he lose.

I'll go along with that for the both of you. Gives me back a little of the lost faith. Not that I have a faith.

Even when he is winning, he claims BS.

I don't see much chance Biden can win, it's unfortunate and the US will suffer long term.

But it's pushed me enough to get Canadian Citizenship, so will be applying soon. (been eligible for years now) so I have a more secure future in the event the US continues down this path.

Oh Bevs if we could, we would go to NZ, nothing keeping us in Canada really anymore either...lol

I agree with this and on the back of that you are being so very wise.
