Yep, but much more interesting when it is not a complete wipe out.

Re: 2020 Election

I did an online exit poll I was sent, conducted by Open California, they appear to have gotten my email from official voter records, didn't know there was public record of who submitted a ballot, but I guess there is. Just thought I would share some of the results. This is only California voters doing this survey who submitted a ballot from what I can tell.

US President- 46,558 people sampled.

76% Biden
15% Trump
With Other being the rest.

Favorable or Unfavorable Opinion on various politicians 47,664 answered (I only put the very favourable or favorable result)

About 78% say Biden is very favorable or favorable (about 2% say they have never heard of Biden)

16% say Trump is very favorable or favorable (weird thing is 10% say they never heard of Trump)

75% say Kamala is very favorable or favorable

65% say Pelosi is very favorable or favorable

Gavin Newsom 75% very or favorable

Mike Pence 20% " "

On Prop 22 37,203 sampled

Yes 42%
No 42 % to 43%

The remaining answering either don't remember or they skipped voting on it.

Who said Californians do not have a sense of humour?

Biden won Dixville Notch, NH. 5 people cast their ballots, and all 5 voted for Biden. The tiny town apparently has a tradition of voting and counting just after midnight. Apparently 12 people reside in the town.

Well it's all over bar the shouting. And there will be shouting.

I hope that today goes smoothly.

I hope the nightmare of the last 4 years might be coming to an end.

A lot of people on here will either be euphoric or suicidal...slight exaggeration there but you get my drift. ;)

Although I will say again that this election is about way more than "sides" or even a political platform. Trump hasn't got a political platform, and Biden is a standard-issue centre right big business democrat who I would not have chosen as my candidate. It's about putting the brakes on a dishonest, corrupt, deranged moral vacuum in the White House who deliberately stokes hatred, violence and division for his own ego.

If Biden wins, I will feel relief rather than euphoria and some hope that we can at least start on the long road back. A Trump win would be very worrying indeed for all sorts of reasons.

TV showing photos of boarded up areas, seems a lot of people are concerned about the actions of Mainly Peaceful Protesters.

I agree. The permission structure that he has created for political and racial violence cannot be permitted to continue, can you imagine a President Jeb Bush having done the same thing? No, me either.

To quote Joe Biden... 'Will you shut up, man?'

Yup. For the last several decades, my tradition is to wait for the results from Dixville Notch - then try to avoid election-related news for about 36 hours. It doesn’t always work - largely depends on the weather, I guess. My son is in a National Park, no Internet, till tomorrow.

I am assuming Biden wins and then they are going to expect pay back, which seems unlikely, so then things will get interesting as the internecine rife bubbles to the surface.

Who will expect payback? I’m not following this. I mean, I’ve donated money to ten or a dozen candidates, but I’m not expecting any quid pro quo, whether they win or lose.
