So Fox almost outdoes both it's competitors combined. Yikes.

Considering the population is 328 million, that means about 1% are watching Fox, and less than 1% watching the other guys. Those don't seem high numbers to me. I just checked with my 30-something nephew; he doesn't have cable service, he streams everything over data. When I asked about what 'news channel' he watched, he didn't really understand the question - the concept is alien to him, and I wouldn't be surprised if that's not typical for all his generation.

Exactly and these numbers have had a major bump from COVID.

I much prefer to watch Fox over CNN, and definitely over MSNBC. Fox is an extra bonus for me wanting to stream the EPL. None of the three are news.

The closest thing I watch to a news channel is the local network news on occasion, but in general I do not watch TV news, almost all the news I get is online from network news. I do browse CNN website sometimes when bored, but generally I dislike their website and its not my first choice.

Only US new channel we get as part of our cable plan is CNN, Fox News is available though as a $4/month add on as are a few other news networks like BBC.

He's a dilettante. He clearly isn't aware that only Congress can change the date of the election. Think Pelosi will go for that? I think not.

Presumably viewership of these channels is skewed to older demographics who tend to vote more. Also the influence of Fox is clearly more than its viewership: look at how Trump & Fox are pretty much in lockstep. But otoh it is gratifying to see the numbers are so low.

Republican flipped a Democratic seat in Califonia today, first time the GOP have taken a Blue district in California since 1998, it is back on the ballot in November and may well flip back but goes to show that there is enough support in some places for local GOP representatives to take seats.

It was also flipped by the Democrats in 2018 after being a Republican seat since 1990. Throw in Hill's resignation and it probably isn't that big a surprise. Pretty disappointing for the Democrats though.

Problem with a delay is it really can't be delayed very long or things get interesting come January, the terms of the entire house is up January 3, and President and VP is up January 20 at 12 noon, there would still be a partial senate however as the entire senate is no up for election this year.

Trump definitely know he is in serious trouble because the negative ads have began early especially in the swing states. He is going to be forced to defend in several traditional Republican held states. Biden is actually leading in the polls in Georgia and the governor there is only making Trump's chances far worse by prematurely opening up that state and exposing every resident to further infections and death. Most governors nationwide have an extra high opinion poll number dealing with the pandemic, but Kemp in the peach state is down in the low 36% range. Guess those citizens have figured out they're best interest are not being considered the main priority. The Democrats are in a strong position to pick up Senate seats in Montana, North Carolina, Colorado, Arizona and Maine. It's starting to feel like Biden could have enough coat-tails to flip a few unexpected down ballot seats. I wonder if Iowa could go blue.
