Re: 2016 Election
I think that at some point, the Republicans may well realize that he's an anchor to their aspirations as they near 2020 (possibly even 2018), and impeach him.

Can't the electoral college just decide to go with Jeb! instead? He seemed like the most harmless of all of the GOP hopefuls this time round.

Re: 2016 Election
Only problem with that is, then we end up with Mike Pence as President, who is arguably even worse. Unless they impeach him too (or otherwise invoke the 25th) and we end up with Paul Ryan who is still not exactly desirable but is the lesser of three evils here.

There will be a few defections in the electoral college, however, barring a calamitous report that can be demonstrated (otherwise, the Republicans/Trump will just claim it as fake news), I think it's unlikely that enough voters will change their mind.
For example, had the Access Hollywood tape not leaked during the election, and dropped tomorrow, that could have been enough to flip enough votes.

Should we start a pool on the date that Twitter decides to ban him for violating its terms and conditions?

What should be more of a concern to the electoral college is the blatant conflicts of interests.

Re: 2016 Election
I agree that the blatant conflicts of interest are a significant concern, which is why Trump pushed off his news conference to (tentatively) January because he didn't want to provide even more fuel for electors who may be wavering when he announces that he plans on retaining ownership/interest in a number of ethical conflicts of interest.
The fact that the electoral college was put in place because of candidates like Trump is lost on most of the American public. I think that there will be some electors who change votes, but it won't be sufficient enough to change the result of the election, as there will be fear of individual reprisals from Trump fanatics.

I've moved the most recent off topic posts into a new thread. Please take the argument there.

They could vote for anyone who qualifies (age 35+, natural-born Yank, hasn't already been president for at least six years.) But you would need to get 270 of them to switch to the same alternative, and nothing like that has ever happened.
Trump could be denied the necessary 270 votes and there would be no electoral college winner if 37 Republican electors abstained or voted for someone other than Clinton. But that would put the vote to the House, which would have the option of choosing between Clinton, Trump and Johnson. As the House is majority Republican, you can guess who would win there.

A "pussy grabbing" opportunity?:

Or maybe he already has:
"Shortly after her successful stint on “America’s Got Talent,” she met the billionaire businessman at his lavish Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida."

Maybe Trump will grab Mrs Putin's pussy when they meet. That should cement the relationship

Some whispers floating around the Internet that Obama's press conference tomorrow will be significant (but of course, no mention of why)

If this is true..it proves Trump has zero respect for the office or the country. Dangling ambassadorships to agents if they book high profile talent for the inauguration.
