I would guess the low life Repubs will start impeachment procedings the day after inauguration. Repubs have no desire to heal the country...just the desire to do as much damage as possible in the hope that they will gain the Whitehouse.

Indeed. You only have to see the Republicans' refusal to allow consideration of Obama's Supreme Court pick to grasp this. And note that word "consideration" in there as opposed to "approval".

Not just the Supreme Court. There are a record number of federal judgeships vacant because they refuse to consider any of his appointments. They sicken me.

Yes a circus. All indications seem to be that Clinton will win by a landslide, does anyone believe that the President, Attorney General and the FBI Director would actually indict Clinton in that situation ?

We've heard how expensive it's becoming but it still provides health care for a few million Americans who never had it in the first place. It stops health insurance companies from turning down people with pre-existing conditions and in a country like this why should any American whose too young to qualify for for Medicare be denied coverage because of a pre-existing condition?
Why should a mother or father with a child who has early stage cancer face the possibility that the child will die because they were unable to come up with the 50 thousand or so dollars to pay for treatment? When I look at Trump and Hillary with their millions and their rat race for power I feel disgusted.

I've cast my vote for Clinton only because the idea of Trump as President is too awful to think about but it's been a rotten choice and neither of them are morally qualified to take on the job of Pres.

Hopefully in 2020 there'll be a better choice. Kick Hillary off the ticket and replace her with Michelle Obama I would be happy to give that lady my vote anythime
I may be wrong, but I think few Republican Congressmen or Senators would in the end actually cancel Obamacare without a replacement- and it is a sign of how worn out the GOP establishment is that they haven't come up with a viable replacement.

Obamacare is absurd in its construction and implementation, and seems to maybe be causing many people to be losing coverage not only from Obamacare premiums increasing, but the effect of Obamacare on other premiums.

But clearly Obamacare has saved lives as you clearly point out by dealing with pre-existing conditions.

Both parties though do not have courage and vision to address the main reason for the problem, that is outrageous costs of medical care.

They don't see it as a priority.

I don't think it's absurd given the starting point and political realities in this country. The current flaw is that the "mandate" is pretty much a joke, so younger and healthier people aren't signing up. Without a functional mandate, an insurance-based model simply doesn't work.
