He seems to be a follower of the Fake News media. Now claiming that he really won the popularity vote. This is very worrying

Yes four years of the news being Trump's latest comments. I wonder what on earth goes on inside his head ? He has already won the election, now to have even a chance of implementing his policies he will have to battle the Congress and has the incredible challenge of all his "day 1" policies. You would think he would be too busy to keep on and on with these "red meat" comments.

I was thinking about what his foreign policy will be ? On one hand seems he is saying USA should disengage from "nation building" etc, on the other he will decisively eradicate ISIS etc. Waiting to see what actual plan he tries to implement.
This is a good piece. It's not just the facts that Trump ignores, it's logic itself.
And a lot of people aren't aware enough to be able to see it.

Here is a list of Trump's campaign promises:
‘I will give you everything.’ Here are 282 of Donald Trump’s campaign promises
It is full of instances where one promise makes another promise impossible.
For example:
12) Leave the federal minimum wage at $7.25 per hour, which is already too high.
13) Raise the federal minimum wage to $10 per hour, as $7.25 is too low and "the minimum wage has to go up."
Ignoring the fact that this was contradicted in the other item - this right here is surely not a man who is in touch with reality. Yet he's the one that's going to save the working class, is he?
What would he have thought a reasonable hourly rate was, then? $5? $2? What a twat.

Great piece and it really shows how much Trump counts on the politeness of others. He lies, to the point where he even contradicts his own lies, to get whatever he wants. Then he lies about the lies he told --- right to the face of the person he lied to originally. This is what he does in all of his "deals", lies incessantly until he "wins" and then reneges on all of his promises by lying about what he promised.

Trump seems to have done some sort of deal to keep some jobs from moving to Mexico, but if the identical widget costs twice as much when made in the US compared to Mexico it can only be temporary.
Get over the Hillary fetish. She's not president. Besides, I thought Hillary was horrible and awful and needed to be killed, hanged and/or locked up. Right? So, if she was really that horrible, why is her record constantly being used to justify Trump's behavior?

Of course nearly every article you see in the media only talk about the jobs and not the associated tax break.

My Family were in the Motor Vehicle Industry and I remember vaguely that being impacted with initially Japanese imports, a combination of cost, cheap transportation and design.
The situation has progressed much more since then, with open markets any Politician going for high wages and benefits in the US when the costs elsewhere are significantly lower is lying. Design is very moveable.
If you have 2 identical products, one made in the US, one made elsewhere and which is significantly cheaper which one do you buy?
You end up with relatively high wages but no employment.
So the spiel I grew up with was that you moved into areas which were more technological, did not understand then and I do not now how that insulated you, why could those jobs also not be done elsewhere cheaper?
The only end game surely is that costs equalise, well there or there about.

The deal is Carrier has to keep 1000 jobs in Buttfck, Indiana and in return the owners get a nice tax break which more than offsets extra expense of keeping those jobs.

But then of course you end up with everybody needing one. Somebody else can do the Maths but it ends in tears.

If Trump really does want to "bring the jobs back", then he should start advocating for Bernie Sanders' Outsourcing Prevention Act.
