Cross border shopping has kept places like Blaine, Great Falls, Grand Forks, Niagara Falls, Buffalo and a few other places afloat. Vacation homes in Florida, Texas and Arizona bought by the thousands in 2008.
I love the US as a country and have visited it many times its the higher than mighty attitude US born citizens portray to others.

Who leaked this story to David Fahrenthold?
I was watching some of this shit-show last night and the most intriguing element is the fact that Fahrenthold would say NOTHING about how this story was obtained. We all have come to know and appreciate Fahrenthold because of his excellent reporting on Trump's finances. It's been said here before, he deserves the Pulitzer for his dogged and revealing investigative journalism. However, Fahrenthold is always very detailed about his sources and methods, not to mention the fact that his forte is financial reporting ... at least in this election cycle. Prior to now he has not really done any reporting on Trump's general treatment of women and overall disgusting person behavior.
Access Hollywood was scrubbing their Donald files looking for a scoop ... and they found the, "I grab pussies", audio. Access Hollywood, prior to releasing this bombshell, sent a transcript over to the Trump campaign for verification. The Trump campaign sent back some weasel-word response so Access Hollywood sent over the actual footage. Trump then authenticated the tape. BUT somebody circumvented Access Hollywood and sent the whole thing straight to Fahrenthold and he scooped them on their own story.
It had to be somebody in the Trump campaign. That's my theory anyway. Picking Fahrenthold specifically wasn't even remotely subtle.

I can't remember where I read it but thought I read that NBC had the footage and were going to release it after the debate. They suspect someone at NBC leaked it. That said NBC must be sitting on piles of hot mic shit from the apprentice. Must be a contractual thing stopping that being released.

Yes it is and who you end up choosing as the next Pres may affect Canadians who may choose then not to spend billions in your country. Of course the strengthening of the Northern Border has deterred some Canadians from travelling south for a weekend as we all know the 9/11 terrorists all entered the USA via Canada
