I am. Despite the depression and neurosis that this election has caused me ... I still care.

I was busy and forgot to record it. Opinions I'm seeing this morning: Kaine looked stupid trying to be aggressive, Pence clearly is thinking of someone else whenever someone refers to Trump. Pence came across as more measured, but lied through his teeth the whole time about things that Trump said which are well known.

There are a lot of masochists in this thread. I'd rather watch an entire season of Glee than one of these debates

I was tired and didn't care. At one point I woke up and turned the tv on and it was on the news, I was half asleep and thought the names on the screen were Pants and Kanye... went back to sleep.

Yeah pretty much the same here. If you're talking solely about the debate, then it's a win for Pence, as he won on "style", by spewing bullshit. But I'm sure the Clinton campaign are already cutting the ads showing what Trump said vs. Pence denying it.

Also, if anyone actually cared about policy they would have noticed that Pence isn't in line with Trump so much stuff.

As for the debate itself, it felt like a Republican primary, explain why we should be scared of Russia, terrorists, Mexicans, etc., nothing on climate change, infrastructure, education, or what actually matters in people's lives.

What we do know is that Mike Pence is going to up there next to Ted Cruz when the shitshow for 2020 gets rolling.

Nor did he defend Trump about many of the comments Trump had made that Kaine brought up. Instead he did his head-shaking, eyes rolling act as Kaine was talking. In terms of debate technique it was pretty effective in the sense that it undercut Kaine's approach.

Indeed. And the guy is extremely conservative. Funerals for fetuses, anyone?

Are there any other states where Trump and Pence appear as candidates for more then 1 party?

Trump and Pence are listed once, however seems both the Republican Party and American Independent Party claim him as their nominee, so both parties are listed next to Trump/Pence on the ballot.

At least that is how my San Diego County ballot has them listed, but I would think it would be state wide.

It happens occasionally elsewhere. I recall the Working Family party in NY used to claim the Dem nominees.

That's the norm in New York. We have democrats, republicans, working families, conservatives, liberals etc. Whether Trump /Pence are on the conservative line this election, I don't know.

Edit; hmm I looked at the Conservative Party website and no mention of the Presidential election. They are endorsing Wendy Something for the senate, the conservative contender for Chuck Schumer's seat.
Also I forget to mention the Independence Party, another of NYS many political parties.

Apparently the first time a presidential candidate has appeared on the ballot for 2 parties in at least 80 years in California.

Donald Trump will be the nominee of two parties on California's November ballot - LA Times

Don't matter if Trump is also selected as nominee for the flat earth society or the gay Nazis for Christ party. He'll be sent packing on election night in California with a taco shell jammed up his fat ass.
