A bald-faced lie is a bald-faced lie. It should not remain unchallenged.

The other thing from Lauer was he wasted so much time on emails when it came to a question that deserved a longer answer (dealing with Syria). He tells Hillary to be brief. It is exactly those simplistic short answers to complex problems that is at fault. Trump's answer is brief because he doesn't know what he's talking about. Hillary's is brief because she was cut off.

....applying the Miesian dictum...

'Less is more':

Less questions = more time to answer.
Last night was a TwitterTweeter Clown Hall. Punchy

oh yeah....forgot to add: and then that RNC Chairman hee-haw put out a statement criticising Clinton for scowling, not smiling enough! (Wonder why?)
Which, in itself, is a sexist appraisal of her performance, as lacking in substance as his candidate's performance.

“I would’ve been tougher on terrorism. Bin Laden would’ve been caught a long time ago, before he was ultimately caught, prior to the downing of the World Trade Center,” Trump said

Would this be before or after he had taken care of Hitler, Mao and Pol Pot?

Wait a minute, wouldn't they have been his BFFs - like Putin and Assad?

I think it would depend on whether they said nice things about him.

True, they should be giving Trump a harder time, but Johnson went full Palin. The answers to the follow-up question later were classic Palin.

I'm not defending Johnson, just pointing out the inconsistency.

The other amusing part of this is the NYT didn't know what Aleppo was when they were writing their article about Johnson not knowing what Aleppo was.

New York Times Aleppo story: Inception, but for corrections.

Lol.

But at least they correct their errors, unlike Fox News.

Fox News just keeps repeating the errors until they become the truth.

Poor Gary Johnson... with regard to Aleppo - he doesn't just have egg on his face, he's got an entire egg white omelette....

Not knowing the context in which the Aleppo question was raised (what had they been talking about just before?), I decided I'd give him the benefit of the doubt...maybe he'd heard/interpreted the question as:

What would you do, if elected, about a leppo?...

And so, I googled 'leppo':

Urban Dictionary: leppo

sorry Gary...I tried (to save you with an article eg: a 'a', but came up 'uh, uh')

What do you think of Trump's national security policies, specifically his policies on nuclear weapons, water boarding and the killing of the families of terrorist suspects?
