Re: 2016 Election
Here's an interesting aside. You know when you accidentally get sucked into reading the comments and get scared that so many people seem to support Trump (or just seem crazy in general)?
It may not be as many as you think. NPR Website To Get Rid Of Comments : NPR Ombudsman : NPR 491,000 comments from just 19,400 commenters 4,300 users posted 67 percent of all comments More than half of all comments in May, June and July combined came from a mere 2,600 users Trump has the biggest rallies, they're the best rallies, yuge, they're turning people away at the door... |
Re: 2016 Election
This is all pretty remarkable. I really haven't seen anything like it before
The press is on a full-out onslaught against Trump. Everywhere you look, there's virtually nothing positive being published now. And he's got virtually the entire Washington establishment (from both parties) out to burn him at the stake. OK, so, now Trump has a new team, comprised of some of the most hated, vicious pit bulls in the junkyard. I really can't see how that's going to help. From where I sit, it appears it will only make it a lot worse. But it will likely become very, very entertaining before it's over. It'll be interesting to watch the flames as the craft plunges downward into the desert though. And the mushroom cloud afterward. I've never seen one of those. |

Trump before classified briefing: I don’t trust US intel | TheHill
"Hours before he is set to receive his first classified intelligence briefing, Donald Trump said he does not trust information coming out of U.S. intelligence agencies and indicated he would cease relying on the bulk of the intelligence community’s massive workforce." I guess the Russian intel is better. |

I'm willing to bet that Trump's plan all along has been to become a right-wing media celebrity. I see a Trump cable channel in his future.

And then we will hear about the election being rigged for the next 20 years. |

And whose vote is he chasing with the latest anti-Muslim "extreme vetting" stupidity? The single remaining undecided racist who hasn't watched any TV for the last year?
He's added the Breitbart twat and Ailes has been his silent partner for a while now. Apparently, the Trump campaign is quite concerned that there may still be some undecided Aryan's who've been holed-up in their meth labs and have missed the campaign up until now. |

Well I read the change was because Trump didn't like hearing in the press he had been "tamed". So expect even more batshittery.
