Ownership by the general population, yes. I'm OK with that and don't have a 'pathological dislike' of guns. But the NRA would have us allow ownership by the mentally disturbed, even the blind, and don't want to close loopholes like gun-show sales. The VAST majority of the population is in favor of more restrictions on sales/ownership; it's only because of the influence of the NRA that we can't enact sensible legislation. Last time this issue went before SCOTUS, the decision was 5-4; hardly a compelling majority.

If mud slinging is the measure of how rattled one is, then surely that puts Trump at the Summit of Flustered Recreants.

First it was "Mexican" judges, now it's Muslim judges:

Ah, so Trump's strategy (to say something outrageous about a group of people then claim they are biased against him because he was rude to them) is being extended to the judiciary and he's going to claim he would never get a fair hearing due to the number of judges that are not old WASP men?

No clue if this true..likely not...but if so...Trump clearly has no familiarity with the 12th an 22nd amendments to the Constitution. Nor, for that matter, how detested Bush is. Weird.

Unless one has come to the conclusion that the American voters as a whole are completely stupid then this "trust me" line of response just isn't going to fly with them
What is Hillary's agenda? She hasn't held a press conference in six months.

It's not unusual whatsoever for judges to recuse themselves from cases where it APPEARS to be a conflict of interest. Certainly the case with the current judge who's parents live in Mexico.

Instead of building a 60 billion dollar high speed rail that isn't needed and nobody wants Trump could redirect that money, $60 billion, to desalination plants.

Explain how having replaced the Affordable Care Act your plan would be cheaper, much more workable and better than the ACA

How would you budget a national defence plan that would reconstruct the military to the world's most hi tech super force while at the same time reducing taxes for everyone and without slashing or reducing other government programs which millions rely on and at the same time not increasing the national debt by a few trillion more ?

Since Trump claims he could do all this then it's time someone held his feet to the fire. Hillary needs to do it and prove that Trump is nothing but a big mouth with feet made of clay
Tariffs

Tariffs

expand medicare/medicaide

Bring the troops home.

The solutions are simple.

You mean Trump manufactured a purported conflict of interest after the judge was assigned to the case. Expecting the judge to recuse himself at this point would effectively give Trump the power to select his own judge.

If only desalination were a problem free solution...which it is not. So not the best idea.

When you have a nominee who alienates people based on ethnicity, religion and sex, responsible companies are going to be leery of associating themselves with the event. Heck, even the last two Republican presidents won't be attending:
