Trump picks up a lot of the Tea Party style voters, who hate the establishment and foreigners more than Trump's less conservative views. As Cubans, Cruz and Rubio put off the more xenophobic types and don't even get the Hispanic conservative votes in return.

No. The Pope was visiting Mexico in a long-planned visit. His remarks about Trump emanated not from a desire to interject himself in the US presidential elections, but from Trump's own hostility towards Mexico:- "build a wall, Mexicans are rapists" etc.

He's no fool though. I'm pretty sure he's aware of the size of the latino vote in the US. Not that many of them have much reason to vote for Trump anyway. His statement was more one of showing evidence national alignment and alignment with the state of immigrants and the state of Mexico rather than an attempt to interfere in US elections.

1% - small donors

0.1% - large donors

All down to your definition.

True. Trump does think Mittens isn't that rich after all.

It's an incredibly naive idea, which doesn't exactly give me confidence in his presidential aspirations. It's not as if they didn't teach this checks-and-balances stuff in high school.

If anyone has a cross-dressing dog who has an interest in the presidency, don't hesitate to speak up.
