That should improve his standing with the Evangelicals then.

Whacking the big corporations with heavy taxes will only succeed in making even more and more of them locate offshore

What we have is Sanders on one end telling us fairy stories and Trump on the other end doing the same. There's no sense of reality in any of it
I agree that Sanders' numbers are optimistic, but to say it can't be done is disingenuous as all he is proposing is already done in many European countries already. Like every other nominee's proposal, it's a starting point.

Reality has nothing to do with politics any more.

True, but he's not going to win the hearts and minds of Catholics by going after the Pope.

Are Catholics Democrats? I don't know.

More than enough money sloshing around in the system, all about allocation.

The only way this could be better is if it was via Twitter.
The amusing thing is that the Papal Guard are basically Mercenaries and originate in the military nutters of the time.

Grandson!

Traditionally, I believe so (JFK etc.).

Pope should stay out of politics. If only the candidates would keep faith or of politics too.

True, you could probably pay for everyone in the country to get a four year degree with the amount of money that's been spent on the F-35.

I was following a thread on twitter where someone had posted a screen shot of it where the response was "is that real?". Rather than spread second or third hand information, I went to the source to confirm it (if only actual journalists did that!).

I apologize for any distress caused.

The Pope was reasonably cautious in his remarks. His main comment was that Trump is "not a Christian", which I think is fair enough.

Presumably he meant not a Roman Catholic.

Do Roman Catholics actually acknowledge there are other types of Christian?
