Re: 2016 Election
Donald Trump tweeted this last night about John Kasich: "John Kasich was managing director of Lehman Brothers when it crashed, bringing down the world and ruining people's lives. A total failure!"
Donald Trump is threatening to sue John Kasich in advance of whatever the Kasich campaign might say in future negative ads against Trump. |

Re: 2016 Election
Don't be too hopeful about Louisiana. The election produced a split result, with a Dem governor and GOP lieutenant governor.
The only reason that the Dem won was because of the scandal (and possibly as a response to Jindal, who went from Republican hero to zero pretty quickly.) This is a one-off, and I wouldn't see this election as an indication of a pattern. The transformation of the Dixiecrats into Republicans has been a decades-long process that is almost complete. |
