Cruz wisely decided to get rid of the issue as soon as he could and renounced his Canadian citizenship.

A pointless argument, he was born in Queens NY. Furthermore my vague understanding of British law of the time was that the mother could not pass down British citizenship only the father. While Donald's mum was Scottish his dad was American. Also I don't think British law of the time allowed dual citizenship.

At this juncture, it seems to all be a moot point.

The republicans are in chaos and can't seem to express any solid platform, and the democrats, well, at this juncture, it seems like a foregone conclusion.

A lot can change in a few months, but unless the republicans can spin up a miracle, I think Mrs. Clinton is currently holding the best hand (and it's only a pair of 6's), despite the overt vindictiveness of about half the electorate.

It will be an entertaining year, that's for sure. Some of the highest quality bullshit is expressed by the most prominent American politicians during election years. The satire shows will be having a heyday. Looking forward to it.

Just guessing here but I'm not entirely convinced Rand Paul knows what democratic socialism is.

Yeah, it's not a case of socialism vs. capitalism. They are not mutually exclusive.

Also, the irony is that Paul and Sanders actually have a lot in common e.g. Reluctance to bomb the shit out of brown people, Bill of Rights actually meaning something. It's just that Rand doesn't like the Government interfering in people's lives when it comes to things like weed, abortion and gay marriage... oh...

I can't believe he compared him to a pedophile. IMO that's an unforgivable statement to make about anyone...unless of course there is no shadow of a doubt they are.

His idiot son was involved in local politics here. He lost when his district was redrawn. Obviously standing on his record of uselessness didn't work.
