Knowing how these things probably work it is likely to be easier for Leslie to get remarried to her ex and change her name to match the Voter Registration certificate rather than the other way round.

I don't like Trump, but - I have got to hand it to him; he's really digging out the skeletons in the closet for the Republicans.

While Hilary is being grilled - yet again - over Benghazi, the issue of Bush failing to act on reasonable info about 9/11 is being re-surfaced, thanks to Trump.

Actually, the results of the last midterms suggest otherwise.

Well we know that only the hard-core crazies vote in the midterms.

To me it's the generals that count - so I consider "Sink the Vote!" a dismal failure. Maybe they'll concentrate on registering their kind of people for 2016 and forcing them off their dead arses and into the polling booths on Election Day.

You're suggesting that Trump is a Hillary plant, and I'm enough of a conspiracy buff to agree. As for Bush failing to act to prevent 9/11, It's All Jeb!'s Fault.

If only you could vote by clicking like on Facebook, then Bernie would win this by a mile.

Totally, if Jeb hadn't rigged the result in Florida for his brother, then Al Gore would have been President and everything would be different...

:goodpost:If you've seen some of the empty, vapid crap that fills Facebook from end to end, I'm inclined to agree.

I thought it was Nader stealing green votes from Gore and Buchanan stealing elderly Jewish votes from Gore in Palm Beach County (thousands of them, enough to give FL to Gore), and the party-line Supreme Court vote to stop the endless recounts.

Jeb!'s fingerprints are in there somewhere - mostly setting up things prior to the election; but on Election Day, the result was due to other factors.

Question: if Gore had been President, would 9/11 still have happened, and what do you think Gore would have done about it? I agree, he probably wouldn't have invaded Iraq and also might not have invaded Afghanistan. But would he have stopped with bombing an aspirin factory in Kandahar?

I wasn't being entirely serious as we were talking about conspiracies it seemed appropriate.

I think the big what if for Gore is that he was more privy to the efforts Clinton made to get Bin Laden and was more aware of the threat that Bin Laden presented, so maybe he would have been more focused on taking him out than Bush was. Whether that would have been enough to prevent 9/11 we'll never know, but it's possible.

Neither was I. I think we were both having a some fun thinking about the absurd conspiracy theories floating around cyberspace. I'm a great fan of alternate history stuff - think Harry Turtledove. A smile still comes to my face though when I consider Buchanan's apparent appeal to elderly Jewish voters in Palm Beach County.

Anyway, the Republic has survived both the Bush W and the Obama Presidencies, so there is hope.

So at least one GOP congressman is planning to launch impeachment proceedings on day one of Hillary's presidency (nice of him to admit defeat already I guess).

GOP Congressman Already Floating Impeachment For Hillary Clinton

Isn't that, like sedition or something?

What provisions are there for impeaching members of Congress for acts of gross stupidity?

For a party that talk so much about Government waste, they sure spend a lot of time and money on bullshit.

Talk is very cheap. Think how much fun we'll have discussing how stupid that Congressman's talk is...actually the fun has already begun.
