Wish someone had bumped this thread earlier.
Where do I start? I've played snooker with Mel Smith, been in a fourball following David Beckham round my local course where he was also a member, played football against Chris Hughton, Gary Mabbut and Michael Duberry. Met Ray Wilkins, Trevor Brooking, Steve Davis and Dennis Wise at Boxing dinners. Met Tony Hadley, Kenneth Williams and Michael Aspel when I worked in Soho. Did a photoshoot on the Hamble when Richard Branson and Chay Blythe were preparing to sail across the Atlantic and at the end of the day, because they were hungry, gave them the food that we were using as props which had been in the sun all day so they were probably sick as pigs. Worked on the Unipart calendars with David Bailey and Lord Lichfield. The Spice girls all sat on my partner Jan's sofa in her house in Cheshunt and my step daughter went to Lapland with them on a promotional tour just before they got famous because her dad knew Simon Fuller. Was in a limousine going to a theatre in London when a cavalcade caused the our driver to pull over and an embassy car with armed KGB on the runner boards pulled up next to us with Mikael Gorbachev sitting in it going to a G8 summit. We waved to him and he waved back. My brother went to school with Richard Madley.
Now for the 'pièce de résistance' I played in a pro-am golf tournament with Gianfranco Zola. No-one can top meeting god, surely.
I bet on another Forum somewhere all these people are boasting that they met me.

thats the one, it was many moons ago (I was only 18!), the whole of the Spurs team were drinking in there after a Saturday match, I was so flustered that I drank up and rushed home to tell my dad (a lifelong Spurs fan) what had happened!! Should have milked it a bit I reckon, hindsight is a funny thing!!
