I was 10 years old for goodness sake, a girl at 10 thinks oh so differently from a boy of 10.
and this was 1968 when a 10 year old was exactly that.
Later when I was working in a hospital he was an in-patient but no one believed I went out with, You may have gathered it was just Gregory Peck's name sake

What am I like, it was 1963 not '68, the old grey cells thinks they are younger than they really are.
Sorry for the senior moment

Now I'm impressed!
I LOVE Mike and the Mechanics
Saw them live at Colston Hall in Bristol, and they were brilliant.
Next time you're chatting with Mike, maybe you could mention that they don't tour enough - and ask if they could they come to Spain soon!!

My dog and I appeared on "Dogs with Jobs" on Animal Planet!
She was featured because she had a big fear of other dogs (!) so was shown being "befriended" by Stan, the GSD with no tail!!
If you ever see it, my dog is the GSD shown in the opening credits, looking like a rabid dog!
The announcer says, "this dog needs help.......and fast!!"
Unfortunately, the dog trainer decided to sit on the boot of the car - which sent my dog into a protective frenzy
The camera crew thought this would make really good TV, so they set the shot up again; by which time my poor dog was beside herself, and I said enough was enough.
So it looked like she was this dangerous, slavering wolf-like creature, ready to rip the next person to shreds - when in actual fact she was just stressed beyond belief, poor thing.
As the TV company made sure we all signed waivers before filming began, there wasn't anything I could do about it
Just goes to show how much of a set up these programmes are!

My only claim to fame (as a huge Liverpool fan!) is that when I was a kid in 1977, I went to Anfield for a pre-season visit.
Because my uncle knew Ronnie Moran (trainer) I was allowed to go into the trophy room, and had my photo taken holding what was then the European Cup!!
I also had photos taken with Bob Paisley and Emlyn Hughes - but Alan Hansen said he was in too much of a hurry to give me an autograph!
On another visit to Liverpool, we were staying in the Holiday Inn.......and so was John Toshack! We'd gone to see Liverpool v Swansea, which was Toshack's first return to Anfield as a Manager. Brilliant atmosphere

I shook hands with (former) president Aznar in Cordoba. Didn´t know who he was at the time - he was just walking down the street shaking everyones´ hand.
As a teenager the actress Alicia Silverstone (Clueless) used to spend summer in the UK in Bath and my missus hung out with her for a few summers.
Been to a polo match in Jerez and got a personal introduction to the sister of King Juan Carlos - she was giving out the trophies.
About 15 years ago whilst on holiday in Spain my missus got asked to dance by that actor, Michael somebody who used to star in Boon and Three Up Two Down (who was he??). She said no cos she was shy.
Hmmm. Struggling to think of any more at the moment. I´ll have to have a think and come back later.

From: That, there, that's not my post count... nothing to see here, move along.

My ex came to his house once to get me, my car decided to stop running, and I was sat in his kitchen having a coffee with him, he didnt have a shirt on, and my ex wouldnt stop staring at him! Mike is REALLY nice, Brian Ferry however, a tosser!
Did some leatherwork for his ex wife some years ago, just when they were splitting up, and he was such a bastard to her!

I went to junior school with Gregory Peck, in fact we went to the pictures together, the film was Mollyanna with Hailey (can't spell that) Mills, we could not agree where to sit so he sat in the back row and I in the front, he got the bus home and I walked. He was so sweet he waited for me at the stop and then we went for a walk. We were both 10 years old, funny how thinks stick in your head like that, I remember he chose me as his date instead of Kay Hart. We only had the one date I wonder why
