The OH has met a few well known people. One job, which lasted 6 months, she worked for the Duke of Edinburgh. She left because she could not stand all the pomp, and she will readily admit she looked ridiculous wearing a hat. Then she worked at No 10 Downing Street for 2 years as a civil servant. She obviously met a few politicians (if they can be called that) - Maggie Thatcher, Ronald Reagan, George Bush Snr, Mikhail Gorbachev and the odd celebrity. She was there when Maggie left No 10 and John Major moved in.

Brother walking down street in London last month - could suddenly see police outriders and big black car which pulled up alongside him - window was wound down and Princess Anne stuck her head out and said "Telegraph" my brother said "Yes" she replied "liked your article, very funny" wound the window up and drove off!! Mind you has met her once or three times

I am not famous but my husband Vernon Nesbeth once was, he is the founder & lead Singer of a male quartet called "The Southlanders" famous for a song called
"I AM A MOLE & I LIVE IN A HOLE" amongst many other hit songs of that Era.
I was a dancer for many years & worked as one of Sammy Davies Jnr dancers, also Peggy Lee, Cliff Richard & many others. I was also lead dancer in many Cabaret Clubs in London.
We retired to Spain just over 4 years ago.

Certainly are still releasing CDs. I have a friend who is a partner in the recording company that releases them now.
