Donde puedo comprar un bigote falso para mi perro?
- Where can I buy a large brown fake Moustache for my dog
     : I love this phrase..why shouldn't a poor whiskerless dog not be entitled to a moustache??
I shall practice it until I am perfect then spring it on my Spanish friends when I am over next.....;)

Glad my stab at humour en espanol did not go totally unappreciated :)

I walked into my Spanish class yesterday morning, proclaiming "Me burro esta muerto" (my donkey is dead) and our Spanish teacher creased up with laughter. Asked everyone else to find funny phrases for tomorrow's homework ;)

Hola Martha, igualmente! Estoy bien gracias. I think normally yes, but as is a thread to impove our Spanish perhaps we could be forgiven? At this point I would like to apologise for my poor Spanish, and will stand corrected both in etiquette and mistakes and will abide if told to stop hijacking a thread! !

Por cuanto tiempo has vivido en Espana?
How long have you lived in Spain?

Me marrido y yo quieremos a vivir alli pero tenemos que vender la casa aqui en Wales. ;)
My husband and I want to live in Spain, but have to sell our house here in Wales.

Somos en Espana 3 anos!

Oh dear, getting too difficult when typing in Spanish. Got to make sure all the grammer and stuff is in place. It's so much easier to speak it and the mistakes aren't as obvious ;)

Soy de Grecia y mi marrido es de Inglaterra.
I'm from Greece and my husband is from England

I hear Wales is beautiful. Would love to visit sometime

In Spanish you would say: Soy de Gales (I am from Wales) or Soy Galesa (I'm Welsh - feminine) or if you're a Welsh man then it would be Soy Gales

It can get complicated, but we are getting the hang of it slowly. We have a great Spanish teacher. The Ayutamiento provides spanish lessons here in Jalon at a very small charge.

Whereabouts in Spain are you planning on moving to when your house is sold?
