Would there be any support for a women only thread here and if so would it be allowed?

I for one am fed up with the male dominated threads which invariably turn into pixxing contests.

Women deal with reality and experience and are not interested in the constant posting of Wiki stuff.

I'm not keen on the idea, sorry. I never like the idea of 'women only' anything, any more than I like any other kind of exclusivity, just seems like a kind of apartheid.

If I get fed up with the direction some threads are taking, I just stop reading -bit like the 'off' button on your telly!

I have had to choose from a male or female crowd I would most likely choose the men. My experience of woman in groups is either down right silly or bitchy.

Sometimes I see names on the bottom of a post sometimes not. Would seem to me that if a womens only place was to be considered they would need to allow only single membership and even then who knows for sure who is a man and who is woman. I could have ticked the woman box but be male ? some users are not identified as either. Neigh on impossible to have a womens only place.

Anyway what's the point, first off you ladies can't keep anything to yourselves for very long and secondly there would likely be a few dodgy guys reinventing themselves and sticking their oars in.

There could be a new forum created where women only threads were posted.

I am not against a women only thread but just know that the men will interupt the flow as per usual. Like you I am fed up with every thread becoming a bullying contest between the usual argumentative males. If I remember rightly something similar to this was tried a while ago and it became targeted so got lost in the sands of time.
