I didnt want to start a new thread so had a search for this one.

Ive just had a nice surprise, Keri just messaged me. Anyway, just had a little chat with him and things are going well for him. He loves Nottingham and has just enrolled at university to study law. Thought I would share it with you because I know some people would still like to know how he is and if he is ok.

That is great news. What a turn around. He had an quite a carefree and laid back attitude really and now to be taking on something so serious is huge.

He did say that he 'found' himself in Spain so the journey that he made both physically and mentally must have been worthwhile.

Good for him and good luck to him in his endeavours.

I cant believe the difference in him!! He is absolutely fab!! I think whatever they did trying to get his pins out have helped him and made them more comfy. He hasnt been sick once (touch wood) since the op, no pain and has put some weight on. He is playing all the time and just sssooooo happy. I didnt put anything on the other thread because I didnt want to tempt fate.

ohhh good news on both fronts, big change for Keri, mind you I had a freind, who was a drop out from agricultural college, decided after a few years of dead end jobe, that he would go back to clooege, he went and studied law, now works in a firm that deals with the billings that Solicitors make to insurance companies, trying the resolve them, get them agreed etc, earns annual bonuses of some £30,000 last I heard.
