Ok guys have a go at this, it calculates your HPI, or Happy Planet Index.

It is a bit of fun but also tells some fairly serious things about your general life.
My HPI is 49.1, above average for someone fitting my details, and my Ecco footprint is 3.69.

HPI = 50.4 which is similar to that of Nepal
ECO Footprint 4.98 which is just below average for UK (not helped at all by the amount of annual air travel)

My HPI is 78.5 - above that of the county I live in which is 44. but I could still improve to 83. if I tried.
Eco Footprint - oh dear I don't know what happened there only 3.01 - average 5.37. Don't know how I managed that as we recycle all the time and I think we conserve energy much more than anyone else I know. Still must try harder.

My Eco footprint is 1.77, which apparently is consistent with the average in countries like Ecuador, Panama and Dominica.
That was really good fun, Matt - thanks for posting it.
I must say that my results would have been very different if I was still living in the UK; plus the fact I'm fortunate not to have to work here, so that obviously makes a difference.

My Eco footprint is 1.77, which apparently is consistent with the average in countries like Ecuador, Panama and Dominica.

Mine ended up quite low, although 50% higher than normal, then i read how it is worked out.....

How good is that..! don't think it improves my HPI though...i'm doomed..thankyou for the kind thoughts though and your precious time...work I remember that, your right it does more than boggle the brain...!
Get Michael sculpting, with his talent you should be a kept woman...sorry Laydee..what do you do in the studio..Drawing, painting, what medium ? have you displayed any of your work on here or anywhere ? tell me to back off if I am being nosey...I have got the sweats and fever today..day 2 not thinking straight, well as far as straight can be for me....

54.6 and 4.05. HPI above average for Spain, ecofootprint average.
