Please tell me you aren't coming back for the 'perfic' weather??

Oh bil.....believe me I will miss the weather, the balmy evenings, feling safe walking the streets at night, passing youngsters and saying hola and getting hello as a reply with a smile - instead of crossing the street to avoid them. There is so much I will miss, but sadly I can't stay and so - bring on the rain, sleet and snow. I miss England - yes, you read it here folks - and I will let you know how it is when I have been back a month or so later in the year.
Now...i am sat in the naya on a cool but lovely evening and enjoying my third glass of wine - a fly drank half of the second glass so that doesn't count
making the most of my time left in Spain.

I can understand there are things to miss, but for me they don't outweigh what I can lose by moving to Spain!
I wish you much luck for your return, and hope that you don't miss Spain too much.

I write a weather report for our area every day on another , dare I say it whisper (forum) I think since January I have only added four days or so of rain, last few days has been around the 27dg mark, who cares re the pool, it is sunny warm sheer bliss, sorry you lot in UK but I do have a smile when I see the rain and when friends call to ask if they can come over, well of course they can and relish the sun.

We came over on 2nd April and it rain solid for 6 to 8 weeks, I am not quite sure of the dates but there mega flooding this time last year, 97 deaths on the roads.
Malaga got it second hand, being in the mountains we got it first.
Half my house fell down and I sat in the lounge with 7 buckets for company and a large glass of something red and a big bar of chocolate!
But when the sun came out it dried up all the the rain
and incy wincy spider bu##ered off again!
That's the worse thing about the rain ....the spiders
But the sun will come tomorrow....thats little ophan Annie

Just outside Alcala la Real, Jaen 3000ft up. It is 45 minutes north of Granada and absolutely stunning - we get tapas for free with every drink!
Saying all that about the rain in April and May since then it has been to hot, hot hot! Only about 6 cloudy or rainy days since then.
More can be found on the alcala-life.com website, the link is on the first post I made on this thread.
