Any of those in the UK government who thinks we are all lolling around in the heat in Spain, where the WFP is not needed, would like to spend the night in my villa, especially after showering in my bathroom, which is cold enough to store the Christmas turkey ?

I have a underbuild all completed, not for storage but it was built for living in and its fairly warm down here even at night it maintains the same sort of temperature, , but upstairs its not so good.

Got a log fire down there as well as the central heating. Toasty.

The night-time temperature dropped to single figures here last night after a long mild spell. Sadly we don't have a woodburner, so I shall spend the next three months in M&S Heatgen thermals worn under black fleecy jim-jams. Sexy eh?

We've had our log burner on for a couple of days now - wonderful. Here's Mouse helping collect leña early this morning ...

We went to see a local production of Blood Brothers last night. Towards the end of the show thunder could clearly be heard and it set off the Dockyard alarms.
On leaving the building it was hissing it down with enough hail to make it appear to have been snowing, the pavements were treacherous.
No choice but to walk the 800 metres home, arriving like drowned rats.
