I’m hoping as time passes this thread will provide a lot of Simple Answers. The forum should benefit from not seeing the same questions again and again, and people new to the forum will hopefully find it a mine of information.
Thank you everyone who actually gave answers to the questions!

No seriously, all is great here thanks
Am just about to go for a walk with our dog now, actually.
The sun is shining, the birds are singing and all is well in our little world
We've got swifts (? or are they swallows?) nesting outside our front door
Re: the dog and cycling activity:
A few years back, Shiloh and I went on a dog activity holiday in the Forest of Dean - had a fantastic time!
Loads of walks, Agility, swimming, fun training and a wonderful bike ride through the forest, with all the dogs running alongside us. Really great fun had by all.
I can't wait to get my bike over here - just hope the poor dog's not too old by then!?
It's a good idea to have a break from studies from time to time anyway; you need to recharge your brain cells and then you'll be motivated again.
Just think of what the qualification will help you achieve
All the very best to you,
Sam.
