Dondé esta la marcha? All Ayamonte restaurants are open, at the Islantilla commercial center I´ve seen most places open during weekends. Monte Gordo in Portugal is also pretty busy. |

Dondé esta la marcha? LUIS in Monte Fransisco is open and serving the best menu del dia around 4 courses for €7.50 but don't ignore the menu real Portuguese food for reasonable prices, the black pork ribs are as good as any. The Naval Club in VRStO is right on the river and the food is good. If you really want to push the boat out the new beach restaraunt at Pria Verde is really good and don't forget the O'Infante Panaramico at the top of the hill at Pria Verde. We have been enjoying good lunches at the Center Hotel in Ayamonte but have not tried the dinner menu however the chef produces some very good dishes so I think you will be pleased. |
Re: Restaurants
I was getting a coffee in the re-opened café-bar in the busstation and the flavours coming out of the kitchen were delicious! Anyone tried it yet?
Opposite the same busstation Vicente from Casa Vicente opened a new restaurant called La Cocina de Vicente, hÃs atun encebollado is considered the best around these parts. |

Has El Rincon closed down then? We went in there once and had a reasonable meal. There was hardly anyone in there though even though it is a big restaurant. The menu was extensive and it makes you wonder how they could offer so much with so few customers. Whenever we have driven past since there's only ever a couple of cars outside although there's often several people sitting outside on a Saturday morning when the market is on.

Re: Restaurants
El Rincon de Suarez is now a pizzeria, this info was posted elsewhere:
"Post subject: El Rincon de Suarez Posted: 03 Nov 2010 21:20" "The restaurant opposite the Galp station has been taken over and is now in Portuguese hands, "Honoratos" does pizzas amongst other food. We´ve never been to the old place because it never got any good comments, so hopefully the new owners will do better." La Cocina de Vicente is on the other side of the busstation, right after pizzeria Siena and MRW. |
