The general consensus seems to be that Rebekah was pulled by the police to aid both their and her cover up,.... meaning that now police proceeding have supposedly begun Rebekah has a good excuse for saying absolutely nowt of any significance to the MPs at tomorrows enquiry for fear of influencing any pending legal case. :sneaky:

Could be. On the other hand it could be the Met interfering so that she could not answer anything that implicates them.

Sure there are many more. If the MP's get their way There won't be any scoops like these.

lets be honest, an in-depth investigation into corruption relating to Middle East military contracts is a little different to setting up people to make the headlines when its a quiet month.

I'm still not sure what was the worst part of the Mellor affair - that he was bonking a blond or that he was a Chelsea supporter.

Being a sad person, I watched it all today.

Rupert Murdoch said it all, a mumbling old man said it all:

I liked Maggie, so I get her into power. I didn't like Major so I got him out and got Blair in. I didn't like Brown, so I got Cameron in.

Is it too much to hope that this will change things a bit ?
The Murdochs continued to pretend they knew nothing about the dodgy dealings until well after the event.
If they were so ignorant and distant as they claim from what was going on, it simply adds to the arguement that their company is far to big and needs to be broken up into properly managed and controlled smaller organisations.

Shame that guy didn't quite hit the target with his custard pie or whatever it was.
Imagine the superb effect of that picture on the front page of almost every major news rag throughout the World.
