It does make me chuckle that for months now the venues have been slowly completed, finished and made ready, the scale of which hasn't been seen for generations, an area of London that has, to be fair, been a blight in some places since the war, has been cleaned up and many GB athletes and sportsmen who have been preparing to compete have slowly, quietly been showing that we are not just a nation of Olympic rowers and almost nothing has been written about it. A couple of pictures on quiet news days have been shown of the village and on occasion a piece has been written, a news clip shown of the progress but now we are 8 or so days away all any of the scum suckers in the media are talking about is the possible failures looming. I am proud to call Britain home and proud to call myself British but I hold no pride in the media or its warped representation of Britain thats for sure!

Shortened by 30 mins I heard today because G4S couldn't guarantee security at the event. Pay them the rest of their £54 million outstanding pay is what I say! Worth every penny of it!

I still can't understand why they turned down Manchester one time, yet chose London this time.

Manchester would have made all Britain proud, time will tell what London does

I'd rather they didn't pay them, sound like a bunch of cowboys to me, give our forces a bit of a bonus, they'll do a better job and we can trust them better

Thats right, keep schtum RM, this sounds to me like a serious stalking case, starting off with keping track from a distance, then a bit of "harmless" fishing, then on day you will find that your pet rabbit is on simmer.

Yeah, but it doesnt always stop with the bunny boiling............it can lead to the lady in your life getting bits chopped off and slashed in a manic manner.
