Switched over to watch the news, Spain's unemployment at 25% was the first thing I heard, I can't win!:D I'll have a look tomorrow morning to see how Cav and Wiggins get on.

When I read this ridiculous comment I thought of replying with anger, but what is the point?

You're not one of us, pal, you're a weirdo. Thankfully, there are not too many of you around.

Joder.

I see her ladyship honoured us with her presence this time, ....probably couldn't resist the opportunity of a decent free nosh-up.
I imagine her and the elephant killer will soon be on dry bread and water the ways things are going.

You've got to believe in something, Dick, and I feel the same way as you do about elephant shooters.

I'm not too keen about our mob shooting pheasants and partridges who were bred to be shot by the gentry, and I could strangle anyone, royal or not, who shoot deer.

But, back to the opening ceremony, when the German team passed, a member of the audience gave a Hitler salute.

Our society is as ****ed up as it's always been.

('I didn't watch Queenie', posted by some idiot only a few posts ago, is typical).

Well it will be interesting to see how the media reacts to the so called Hitler salute if that's what it was meant to be.
Overall I don't think it went to badly, what I saw of it and no major cock-ups either as far as I know.

By the way I'd best stay well clear of you,as I don't fancy death by strangling.

I for one did not really enjoy the opening ceremony which I watched with about 20 customers, too long and largely boring an oh so bloody typically multi sodin cultural and politically correct. A pile of shite in my opinion and who the frigging hell were the nobodys that lit the flame, there were so many good options which the organisers ignored and to top it all we have a 70 odd year old man singinging a fifty odd year old song. Will someone please shoot that dick McCartney

If someone will lend me a gun I'll do it for you!
If he doesn't know how ridiculous he looks and just how out of tune and off key he is then his friends (if he has any) really should tell him.

How would you propose we control their numbers when they start dying on the hill from disease? Even the RSPCA had to admit defeat in Exmoor and call in the marksmen.

If you are seriously thiking of shooting "sir Paul" make sure you get the right man, you could end up shooting Ken Dodd instead.

It may be just me, but can anyone else not see a great difference between them?

Yes, we're not alone in not really enjoying it, although as I said I switched over so saved myself from the punishment of listening to McCartney. Just reading a poll in ABC, over 50% of Spanish didn't rate it either.

Pretty predictable stuff from a leftie like Boyle, I see an MP described it as 'multicultural crap' “The most leftie opening ceremony I have ever seen – more than Beijing, the capital of a communist state! Welfare tribute next?”, someone else as "A celebration of free health care, the trade union struggle, the battle for women’s rights and a fleeting lesbian kiss: the Olympics opening ceremony "

Re: The Olympics

The wankers at the Guardian are already starting to dissect the ceremony and throw stones. I thought the media would learn to back off but no, they keep prodding, taking us along with them on their cynical, bitchy, whiney path to self loathing and anti Britain hatred....

As to the "multiculturalism" of the ceremony, I hate to tell you all, we live in a multi-cultural country, our favourite food is curry, many of our words are Indian, our favourite sports are boosted by the Windrush, our music is influenced by almost every nation we have had contact with, live with it, deal with it.... its pathetic!

Culling them in a humane way, using trained marksmen, is entirely different to some doddery Royal shooting them in the arse for fun.

I have worked as a ghillie, it was my life for most of my childhood as well and I have never, in all the season I worked and was involved in shooting, seen anyone ever shoot a deer in the arse. If the deer have to be culled then someone has to pay for it, without paying guests and lets remember they have to own a fire arms license, then it falls onto the government and ultimately the tax payer to finance it.

Learn a little more about things before you open your mouth..... oh wait..... youre going to tell me all about it now aren't you?
