Depending on whether you want to smell like a chip or a nappie, vinegar or urine ease the itching.

After-bite is ammonia, that helps as does hydrocortisone cream to stop all kinds of itching including mossie bites. Problem is if you start to scratch them they can get real bad.

Avon Skin so soft, there is a moisturiser in Mercadona colled Almendros, there are patches you can buy there as well. ALL contain Citronella. Ceririzian tablets from the farmacia, €4 for 20, will stop the itching but NOT stop you getting bit.

Ahhh....but when we meet up with Sam and Debsy you will be sat next to me on the way as you promised to give me a lift Hopefully there won´t be any mozzies around then.

I now have 130 mozzie bites and my legs look like a dot to dot Horrible!!!!

Tried vinegar - doesn´t stop the irritation and I didn´t like smelling like a chip shop - hubby kept his distance too , hydrocortizone helps to relieve the itching and I now have three different insect repellant sprays. Met Mitzy yesterday and he recommended a spray which I bought on the way home. Out this afternoon at a charity function being held by friends of ours and will put the spray to the test

Just wet a kleenex and put it in the mocrowave, and CAREFULLY use it as a hot poultice.

Costs nothing, and actually works. Plus you don't have to smell of anything.

And you can buy "After-Bite" in Spanish farmacias, just have to pronounce it right as in After Bittay. Works although sometimes you have to reapply several times but the sooner you can apply the first drop the less the bite persists.
