I wonder if on some Spanish forum there is a conversation re British immigrant numbers to Spain ? Immigration has always gone on some of it good some of it bad. Not all UK immigrants to Spain bother to legalise their position as they should, although with 31 December approaching many are now but I bet not all.

Yes...I would guess there is a Forum somehwere where the Spanish can slag off the British immigrants. We are immigrants...not expats.
The word expat suggests we think we are on a higher level than immigrants of other nationalities.

It´s not about that. It´s about changing the whole culture of a country.

Given the average percentage across the UK, I am not sure how real the risk is of "changing the whole culture". I think the greater concern/ risk is the failure to integrate immigrant communities, when large cities across the UK have become Balkanized, with significant areas of immigrants that haven't been integrated into the UK mainstream, and worse, apparently don't even want to integrate.
