Of course you have and so have so many other British people. Immigrants can be a pain in the a*se, but they also make a country more vibrant and give it more possibilities.

There is NO difference between a British person in Spain and an Afghan, Pakistani or Chinese immigrant in the UK (as long as they are legal). If you can't see that, then I can only presume you are racist?

Oh and I should add, Spain has changed beyong recognition over the past 20 years because of immigration, at least as much as the UK. And for agorreira, you're right there is not much immigrant representation in Spain, but that is because it is so recent (last 20 years) everyone is still first generation. Hopefully the second generation will be newsreaders, politicions, sportsman etc.

There are already 2nd generation immigrants playing for the top footy teams in Spain. And I see British and Chinese TV presenters on TV (think Intermedio and Michael Robinson)

WAKE UP, Theres a massive difference between an Afghan muslim moving to the UK as opposed to a regular Brit moving to Spain ,firstly we turn up with money and support ourselves ,we dont have stoneage views about women , law, life in general, we dont want the Spanish to change their culture, religion and laws to suit us either, etc etc etc.
European immigrants have financed Spain`s arrival into the 20th/21st century not drained it by milking the social security system etc.

Totally agree... migration has been going on since time immemorial and shall continue to do so. Thank god for it too.

You could have fooled me by all the complaints about the Spanish laws on here. And all the British supermarkets, bars and cafes. And the British schools. And the reluctance to speak Spanish. And the practice of hiring only Brits to do work. And the British gangs, dodgy timeshare sellers and drug dealers etc etc..

Brits are making their own contribution to changing the culture of Spain whether Spaniards like it or not.

Also, you'll find the richest parts of Spain have the fewest Brits, so maybe you've overstated Britains role in dragging Spain into the 20th/21st century.

Maybe you're not quite the hero you'd like to think you are :p

Good thing then, we all have the right to live in any EU country and 'enjoy' the same benefits (and duties) as those born there, including to complain and approve.

Not me, your generalising:thumbdown: I speak Spanish ,employ them and socialise with them and never use Brit bars, resturants, shops etc:thumbsup:

The EU DID/IS STILL TRYING to drag Spain into the 21st century
