I just bet you would !
On the down side I don't think it would be too long before your soundproof house became an open air concert hall after being hit with a barrage of rocks through the windows and roof.
Has it never crossed your mind that many folk live out in the country for very good reasons, such as peace and quiet for instance ???
Do you know just how far sound can travel over open countryside ?
I can hear the racket at fiesta time from various villages several kms away which is not so bad once in a while, but to have it blasting away almost nonstop all year round may just upset a few folk incl. myself and have them round your house PDQ to return the favour.

I have similar problems with the local park being open until 3am 4 days a week during the summer, then I am only 2 street widths away from the loudspeakers, but it would be quieter if there wasnt a top on the bandstand.
Even then we get reverberation and bounce round from neighbouring houses.
but then this is just for a bit of fun - we hope.

bass travels through the ground further than treble travels through the air.
but with an unlimited budget I am sure anything would be fixable
fancy asking G4S to provide the security for the site ??

I think we should get Dick and Muttlee to do the security, with some good ear-plugs of course. If he starts getting grumpy he can thrash it all out on one of the drum kits.
Who shall we get to be the first guest tutor? I was thinking Roger Daltrey, he was pretty cool at the Olympics the other night.

I much prefer the countryside as it is without any domes or other monstrosities spoiling our view.
On top of that we'd likely suffer an invasion of them there teddy boys and the like, causing aggro or dropping tab ends all over the place starting wildfires and such.
Now where did I put that old 12 bore shotgun ?
If I can pepper a few behinds it might help get shot of them damned varmints !

If you could set up any sort of business in Spain - what would it be
For me it would either be an Arty Farty type business as i love card making - maybe a shop - or something to do with kids as that is my job here in the UK and i do love that as well
So come on give us ya best - whether wacky, serious or whatever xxxxx

The courses would include :
1: Why corruption does not pay in the long term.
2: How to stay in touch with reality.
This would make everyones life in Spain soo much better

I set up a college for Spanish politicians and civil servants , course completion / pass would be compulsory before they could commence work.

However, at least they are starting to be tried and imprisoned e.g. Jesus Gil, Jaume Mata, Urgangarin even Camps has been to court, although amazingly was proven innocent
As for a business, if I had tens of millions I'd like to buy a village somewhere remote and turn it into a centre for sustainable business that provides employment but must be sustainable in terms of profits and the environment. So creating a new business model that we could all live by
Maybe I'll do that anyway..if only I could find some investment...

If you can find investment for such a project I would like to get on the bandwagon with a little known success story in Spain - the microbrewery.
seems there are more and more cropping up, catering for local regional areas rather than taking on the majors head to head.
