how much do you pay at a British post office for the road tax on your spanish car ?? how much is your british water bill on your spanish house ...you only pay the TAXES WHERE YOU LIVE ..what people pay for an internet service in another country is up to them ,you pay what is due where you are ... has that taxi arrived for the clinic yet ....try paying 7% VAT at your local shop and not get arrested ..

Ducking
Diving
Prevaricating

But you never give an answer to a question

the main thing that is free is your continual advertising on BE Spain

How will those installers in Spain etc who " provide " a UK Sky service to residents on those countries who do not have a valid permanent UK address
deal with these issues ??

sorry when we buy anything from the EU for tenerife, the VAT is taken off and we pay the local VAT called IGIC .
inside the INTERNAL (which we are not in ) then you pay the VAT in one country and claim it back in the one your are in if you are in bizness ...if you are public you just pay the rate in the country you buy it in ... and we are still part of spain !!!

SKY GO is an internet based service - no men with dishs or boxes coming round your ´´house ´ so if you BUY it in the UK ,and PAY for it in the UK you can WATCH it ANYWHERE IN THE 27
so its all E electronic ... no moving things on cars/planes/boats to watch---

well we know someone who will be selling into Spain television cards allowing access to Premier League matches as part of a North Africa/Middle East exclusive agreement with the PL to cover North Africa and the Middle East.
and it is is claimed will be 100% legal

Wonder what the PL's chief executive, Richard Scudamore, would have to say about that. Especially as he was appointed in November 1999 after the former chairman and chief executive, John Quinton and Peter Leaver, were forced to resign in March 1999 after awarding consultancy contracts to former Sky executives Sam Chisholm and David Chance

we dont pay UK ,SPANISH VAT what other taxes do you mean?? VAT is part of the single market and cannot be treated as a ´´local´´ tax the same way as road tax or a britsih tv licence .I draw the line on which is which by asking is the law based on a EU directive or just from the local parliament .

Re: Goodbye Sky TV

BAT we all know that there are installers in Spain, etc who will supply expats with a Sky card, Sky account etc which are necessary to access SKY GO.
To obtain Sky " officially " A. You have to be a UK Resident and have a UK billing address where the reception takes place.
B, YOU have to have a UK address that the Sky installer can visit erect an Sat dish connect your box and validate your card with the Sky HQ or of you already have a dish or are on a communal dish validate your new box etc. If you are a overseas resident call SKY UK if you have signal or service issues then the probability is that they will switch you off, we know residents that this has happened to. Why do the SKY sat installer have UK mobiles when calling SKY ???
If you do not qualify for the above then your " supplier " is just as guilty as the re broadcasters of providing programs which they have no legal right to be it by SAT or Internet.

part A is ILLEGAL since
http://curia.europa.eu/jcms/upload/d...cp110102en.pdf
In its judgment delivered today, the Court of Justice holds that national legislation which
prohibits the import, sale or use of foreign decoder cards is contrary to the freedom to
provide services and cannot be justified e
