I have been in and out of the US 6 times in the last few months including driving across the US- Canada border, at no time was there any delay and my documents only received cursory checks.
In fact leaving US driving into Canada there were no checks, not even a check point on the US side, whereas leaving Spain to drive into Gib one first has to pass through the machine gun toting THUG SQUAD then Spanish customs before reaching their passport / every bit of paper they can think of control.

Well Fred - you have to accept that Two Tubes must have been held at the US border for three hours in the burning sun (or pouring rain) together with hundreds of others including pregnant women, kids and old people while the US border guards do precisely nothing except watch people suffer through the fence - it's the only explanation.

Well Fred - you have to accept that electing a government that wants to piss off the neighbours, against the wishes of the British Government who are responsible for their foreign relations, is going to attract some sort of negativity from said neighbours.
In fact more to the point where do you get any ideas about Gib from?

As Fred has said - everything Gibraltar does is done according to Spain (and only Spain) in disputed waters. This includes the laying of the entire reef since 1974. So what should Gibraltar do - nothing?

Was it in enclosed toxic waters, attracting seabirds to the end of one of the most dangerous runways in the world ?
