I think its all getting promising for Alonso, from a couple of races ago when there wasn't ANY competitiveness in Renault, suddenly they are at the top of the field.
Given the new regulations, someone's engine had to go pop, just a shame it was his I guess.

As long as our boy continues to over-achieve in a lesser car, whilst England's sweetheart, "the people's princess", continues to do the opposite, I for one will feel happy. Then maybe someone in England might make the connection that pre-2007 they were off the pace and post-2007 they are off the pace. Alonso factor after all????? Heaven forbid Mr Brundle and your cronies!!!!!!!

Renault have made progress for sure, but they were short stopping twice and one long stint (at the end) and as you saw just before the blow up he had no chance of coming in the top 4-5.. But good on Renault for making a huge step forward, but how you can even think he was over-achieving in a lesser car is just... well.. i'd get banned if i said it

I couldn't give a rats backside about Lewis but your total crap Alonso fanboyism has forgotten that during the Alonso days and now there has been different rules and regulations and just like the previous season, Mclaren didn't do all that well until the Mid Euro season, since the tracks tend to suit the longer wheel base chassis of he McLaren, tho this may not be the case this year with the lack of traction control, thus it's a lot harder to keep tyres in a reasonable condition.
Try to look at things how they are, not through silly fanboy tinted glasses.

Bloody channel 10 muppets insist on filling the gaps with nonsensical bollocky words insted of letting the professional commentators get on with it ARRRRRRRRRRRRRGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

interesting free practise this morning.....turkey track looks to be very challenging with out TC this year - many drivers spinning and taking detours...more than other free practises this year.

A good race outcome but hardly brilliant for the future aspects when another car can do one extra stop and only be behind the winner by 5 secs tho!
Disappointing that BMW wasn't up there too, makes it all much more interesting..
Roll on Monaco and I shall be there!

Interesting though ..... the way I read it was that although Ferrari were clearly much better cars in the last few races, the gap is narrowing quickly
