Ok, I really need some help from you Formula 1 fans...PLEASE!!!
It´s my hubby´s birthday next week and I want to buy him tickets for the Valencia race. He´s a real F1 nut (was up with his alarm at `stupid-o-clock´ this morning to watch it live) and I thought that getting tickets for the first race ever in Valencia would be a great gift.
Anyway, I´ve been looking around on the net and found various ticket sellers. El Corte Inglés seem the best, not only for price but they tell you exactly where your seats are and considering I´ll probably be going with him, don´t really fancy being sat miles away. Anyway, from what I´ve read, they are not releasing the tickets until 1st April. Does anyone know if this is correct or know of another reliable website to buy tickets that will deliver to an address in Spain? It would be much nicer if I could get the tickets before his birthday.
Also, can anyone recommend a good stand to try and get tickets in in the low-mid price range. I really haven´t got much of a clue!
Thank you very, very much in advance!

This may help, I think you can pre-book as well.

Mitz is right, Europe hasn't been released yet.
I hate it when he is right, still, it rarely happens so alls OK.

Thanks to both of you.... very speedy replies too! I guess I´ll just have to give him an I.O.U on his birthday but I think he´ll be really happy when I can eventually get him the tickets.
Where would be a good place to try and get seats, eg, overlooking the pit lane? Near lots of bendy bits on the track? Very blonde when it comes to F1 and quite happliy let him get up in the middle of the night on his own to watch it

I think F1 makes you guys very excitable! Thanks Mitzy. The address for El Corte Inglés is
http://www.elcorteingles.es/tiendas_...CECI%2CFF.html
Then go to the right and there´s Buscador Rápido, but you can´t bring up Valencia yet, Barcelona´s there though.

Sorry guys, just one more dim question from the `unknowing one´ but is it really very noisy to be there? One of the ticket sellers was offering free earplugs with their tickets. If so, I could get hubby some earplugs to open on his birthday until I can get the tickets... that will keep him guessing!

It cost me 53 squid for the whole weekend for our daughters ticket when she was on her Oz trip.

If it's any help, the official site is http://www.f1-vlc.com/ . As for the best place to sit or how noisy it will be, the circuit is in the process of being built still, and as there has never been a race there before, it is hard to tell!
However, I live about 6km from the Riccardo Tormo circuit at Cheste where the F1 teams do some testing before the season starts, and lets just say it is quite obvious when they are there, as the noise is unbelieveable!
