I'm neither that young, nor that old, but sometimes the holidaymakers in mid summer make me realise it.

There were a few around in our favourite cafe this morning, including three young ladies in bikinis sitting not far from my wife and I. They weren't really skimpy bikinis, but skimpy enough to draw my attention.

While honestly checking my mobile which was buzzing, my suspicious wife kicked me on the shin. She must have thought I was going to use the inbuilt phone but I wasn't, it just happened that I was pointing the mobile in the young ladies direction with my finger on the wrong button.

I handed her the offending phone so I could rub my sore shin, and she pressed the right button. It was her sister from England.

I thought that was happening to me this morning

I was perfectly content sitting outside a bar with my solo del tiempo, when I felt a splashing sensation.....

two floors up, not directly above the bar, but above the offices next door - someone decided to wash down their balcony

It could have been worse - my OH was once walking along the street when someone let their pet dog out onto the balcony and it lifted it's leg just as he was passing underneath! Eeewwww

a couple of weeks ago one of our local bars put his tables and chairs out on the footpath but couldn't understand why no one was sitting outside - until I told him about the senorita who was cascading her patio water onto his setup.
