We receive Guadiana TV in the restaurant, I'm sure it comes through your normal TV aerial no need for any kind of box. I'm not sure how far they transmit, don't know if you will get it on Esuri.

As far as I am aware they transmit 24/7, often just repeats of recent events.

A little snippet of information for those of you who like a good read a Book Swap has been started at CE Golf Club. At the moment it operates between 4pm and 6pm every Wednesday afternoon in the Platinum Members area. There are a good supply of titles available including several in Spanish. If you have any unwanted books you would like to donate I'm sure they would be greatly appreciated. A small charge is made which goes to a local childrens charity in Ayamonte. Regards, Bryony

Isn't there a rule that says normos can't enter the Platinum Area???? How do they get the books across the divide - and how can they browse??? Or is it simply an Elite service????

The people running the Book Swap are all Platinum Members and therefore can invite into the area anyone they chose. However they reserve the right to refuse entry to short, fat, welshmen.

Isn't it funny how one man's view can set a whole urbanisation and thread "anxious about their purchase decision"

The point about 'to the face' was in reference to the false accounts. Do it in your own name is what he was getting at - I've not set up false names to tell you my views.

My view is at odds with yours - fine. Live with it. It's called democracy. Really, if the point of view of ONE person on a thread where there are 100's of people saying the opposite is really enough to upset you into calling 'a meeting' (HA! FFS), that says a lot more about you than it does about me. And I did not have to resort to derogatory comments about height to do so.

Now I knew 'handshakes' in Benalmadena port were said to be expensive, but surely that is a bit excessive, JDR???

I have just arrived back in the UK after spending the last few days at Esuri.

Despite the events of the last 18 months, it is still a wonderful place to be. On Saturday evening we stood and watched the sun setting over our partly built property. Peace, quiet, warmth, wonderful views of the River and Portugal on the opposite side .....

It doesn't matter how much certain contributors to this forum continue to attempt to bad mouth the site and vision of Fadesa, I would still prefer to be back on site rather than in cold windy Manchester.

I have sat and read through all of the posts that I have missed over the last week and to be honest I am at a loss as to why people waste time responding and reacting to the input of some others. I think we should be supportive to those who have legitimate issues to resolve, but simply ignore those who insist on simply trying to pick a fight with others!

Anyhow, am back after gone for 5 days and the weather´s great in good ´ol Ayamonte, 21 degrees today. Laguna square starts to get busierwith tourists and locals. The town is gearing up for the Easter processions and if this weather continues it should be a proper Spanish style holilday!
