But I hope you give us the full monte.... positive and negative as you seem to be ''in the know"., and we need local knowledge and experience - that you seem to have a lot of.

Also you didnt really answer the question in your reply. Im not prying so dont give any private information away, but you are a major contributor here and I know you want to be incognito - but can you answer these very general questions please.

1. Are you a resident of CE - or nearabouts?
2. If so roughly how long?
3. If not are you planning to be a resident soon - or ever?
4. If so do you plan to stay a while?

Again you can respond - if you want to - without giving anything away, as I know you want to be anonymous. I dont want to pry into anything personal, as its not my business. But these are general questions only.

Cheers
Jon

yes I said I had a big problem and it was getting bigger by the week.ok here it is.being married to a younger women,I thought I would try some viagra.so I went to the chemists and got a big big bottle.it said on the label.take a mil capsul.(in spanish)I dont realy speak spanish so I took it as un mil.thats one thousand in english.so I did.then my you know went big and then went bigger by the week now I find myself walking around with a wheel barrow:rofl:
I dont mind having a bit of banter and micky taking.both ways.(verbaly)but I think I would be a lousy person to continue given all the problems at the moment on CE.and hopefully they will be sorted out soon.

I live nearby and yes Im a resident.Ive been fulltime here in this area for a very long time.but as the finacial situation is bad for a lot of us at the moment.I may have to go back to the UK and work for a while

Good to know that the info was of use but do be very very careful at all stages to follow the timetables set out. It seems that the smallest breech on the buyers part excuses some pretty big breeches on the sellers part in the eyes of Spanish Judges and Magistrates.

Hi to all you plotters,

The latest news from the Shed is that Plots have been added to the completions list and that if you move with lightening speed you can now coplete on your plot before the 30th September. If you have given POA to your Abogado and want to buy do it today!

Good Morning Marisol,

Today is the day for taking photos from the top terrace, focus towards the east and see what you get. You did not reply to my question on the length of your stay will you still be around on the 3/4 October when we arrive at Ayamonte?

Regards,

John.

Hello All

Just back from CE and we had a wonderful time with some very good friends, met up with Marisol and Fer who are a joy to be with. VERY talented lady is our Marisol, not only does she speak and write English so well she is an excellent artist and has completed some beautiful paintings..........hey, Marisol if you can part with some I suggest an exhibition at the Golf Club, or maybe at the shop on CE, you would immediately have 5 sold with us and "the girls" next door !!

On Jon BXL advice we went to Fabrica which is lovely, walked along the beach and ate some prickly paw paw ( seen Jungle Book and Balloo ? ) and made our way up to the top hoping to walk back the road way but ended up on a golf course. Fantastic views from up there, when my IT staff (ie chidren)
call round I will ask them to put the photos on. Mars Bars has extended and looking good with food and prices spot on. Also had an excellent meal at Noosh. Missed out on Jags as I was the only currry eater.

Went to Tavira and to the Camera Obscura which is worth a visit. Had a look round the castle at Castro Marim, what is the other "new" castle all about please ?

Used the shop which has a good stock, did a big buy at the supermarket but went up most days to buy various items and also enjoyed sitting out at the front there and having a drink. helpful and friendly staff too, just hope they manage to make a go of it.

Had a "fume" at the list of people who still owe community fees (one owes almost €1800 ) and I have seen people at the houses using the garden , pool, toilets etc and feel so angry that we work hard and are subsidising them. One family used the pool for 3 days and we learnt that they had been given the garden gate key from a man who looked after the house ( one that has never paid any fees) and told to make use of the facilities as and when they like. They have a house in Ayamonte that does not have a pool. I had a chat with him and told him that as they did not pay (the family in the pool) and neither had the owner of the house he was using as access that he should not use Lomas de Esuri M2 facilities, Cheeky ****** said he would continue to use them and would tell residents that I had said it was ok. WHAT !!!! Just to let fellow residents know that I DID NOT ! I did have a word with ADA about this. Well having had my rant I do appreciate that this type of thing will always be a problem in a shared community and compared to the worries of other posters with M Fadesa it is pretty insignificant.

The weather was fantastic AND we have come back to the sun thank goodness....also, on a very personal note, we will be Grandparents next year. Just bursting to tell the news as I am so happy for my son and his wife - and for us ! Can't wait to get my grandchild playing in the paddling pool on CE and I have always enjoyed making sandcastles but you look silly when you are mid 50's doing it by yourself on the beach !!

Thinking of those who are struggling with the complexities of law etc with MF and wishing you all the best, there are some clever folk on this thread who have offered good advice and I do hope you have a successful outcome.

Take care

Mel

Thx..totally agree. The reasons for wanting to build in Costa Esuri are no different now to what they were when we embarked on this 'journey'. The decision is therefore the same - build. It will probably take a year to get something designed properly (a previous attempt did not inspire us!) - but when it is built it will have been worthwhile.

Hi Cathyor, sorry to hear that you have decided to pull out of your property purchase on CE. We completed on our apartment ( Marina Esuri ) 2 1/2 years ago and up until May this year used it as a holiday home. We now live here permanently and couldn't be happier. We have lots of new friends who also live here plus those that come out on holiday several times a year. You obviously have your reasons for pulling out but it seems such a shame as it is really great here and you mention that you had a really nice place lined up. I'm sure that most other owners and residents will agree with me and also wish you luck in finding something just as nice. Regards Bryony and Mike

glad you had a good holls.have a word with the presedent. he cant get away from paying at some time or other.the administration can take legal action.and that is basicly pay the fees or loose your property.and it dosnt take long they just come around and change the locks or tape it off with official police/court tape.then he will be arrested if he trys to gain acess
