Hola,

Just catching up with the reading here...

As mentioned previously, I hope all people concerned with the van incident are ok. It must have been frightening, to say the least.

On a lighter note, Re: John&Kath's house name NO8DO. I suspect marisol's translation of "dejar" (regarding fidelity) to be more exact. Am I right in guessing John's favourite singer is Gloria Estefan, and his signature karaoke "No me dejes asi"? ("Baby! (tootlelidoo) My heart is full of lurv & desire 4 u!" (doodlidoo)"
Sorry, John, only joking!

We stopped outside last visit in the pouring rain & were salivating at the menu which was extremely varied & looked very 'up market'. They had set menus from around 40 to 50 or 60 euros a head or of course just have a main course & keep the cost down
Went to Faz Gostos for a meal last year and it was superb. I can't remember how much it cost but it was above average, having said that we had everything and didn't mind paying for a one off special meal. The service was excellent and the chef came out to ask if we had enjoyed the meal. You could do it much cheaper than we did by just having a main course and glass of wine. I will certainly go back but maybe wait until the exchange rate has improved somewhat.

For those who may be interested, look at todays= moneysavingexpert.com, it has in depth details about car hire abroad, what to look for, what to be wary of and where some of the better deals are, etc.

Hi Ken..

Wow what a great day you had with the 'usual suspects' Did Tony and Rachel bring their lovely daughter R-L as well? Looks like Jag has got staff now and could take a well earned day off with Pam, whilst the kids are out on holiday.

I hear September is great in Ayamonte too as there are lots of festivals, then its been recommended, but we are not sure when we will get back next, maybe November. The New Years party was great last year, we discussed that before, so we are considering that too (if there is going to be one - a bit early yet I suppose).

Have a great time there and love to P - sorry we arent there to meet up again this time... looks like we're missing a good time, as ever.

Jon

Ok this is probably a really odd question
does anyone know where i can buy high density foam or stuffing for cushions, I have some outdoor furniture that needs extra padding and dont want to have to buy new cushions, rather save the money and go out for a nice meal, Faz Gostos maybe now the exchange rate is climbing......
