There have been countless thread on here and all over the internet about it, basically, if the vehicle is in the country for more than 3 months (because by then you are classed as a resident) it has to be on Spanish plates, even if it is taxed, insured and mot'd in the UK.

So. If the vehicle is doing regular runs between U.K. & Spain it can be Taxed and have MOT in the U.K. and remain on U.K. plates?

No. if it is based in Spain, and can be shown for example that the owner is on the Padron, or is here for more than 3 months, it HAS to be on Spanish plates.
And yes, probably 99% of the UK registered vehicles that you see in use in Spain are completely illegal.

I'm sure you are right! but it could be owned by someone in the U.K and this person is doing the Spanish leg of the journey. It returns regularly for service tax mot etc. It might be one of the 1% that are legal.

News today is that the shop has been very busy indeed since it opened.

Its high season now, I hope the shop stays open also in the lower season...

Thanks for the update - and yes I agree with your earlier post, lets keep the small shops in business...

Hi Jon

Take a left from the golf club past the apt on the right and duplexes on the left. Take a left at the roundabout - Calle Miguel de Unamuno - and go up the hill. Go right up to the top and the road takes you round to the right. The shop is on this road half way up on the right.

Yes, good trade hopefully in the summer season but it all depends on the occupancy in the winter months.

All the very best to you both.......presume YOU are NOT in the club !!!

Mel

Have you tried the Jumbo complex @ Faro.
My wife has bought lots of every day items from there.
Assuming you fly Stanstead/Faro it's not to far our of way to CE

Any sign of the Endesa electrics going into place now? According to various earlier posts it was looking as though people would now be able to sign up for proper connection. Has anyone managed to as yet?

If you look at where the generators used to be on RVA -1 you will see that they are gone.
Do the people on RVA 1 have electric? Yes!

Did Fadesa push to get this done? They have really stepped up and sorted this out with Endesa.

Can you officially connect to endesa? No! Still need to dot the i's

Should you get the paperwork ready for connection ? Yes

Have I personally connected any of my clients on Rago 1 or RVA-1? So far this week NO. ( it's only Monday, waiting for a call from Pepe)

Do Endesa have all the relevant paperwork from my Clients? Yes

Regards
Michael H
