Good and dangerous work of investigation

You don't fully appreciate the risk to life and limb I took that day. The pictures do not reveal me suspended from a helicopter in a harness at the end of a long rope. My accomplace the pilot swung me around a full 360 degrees as I frantically snapped way with the camera with one eye and the other eye looking out for jobsworths in uniform armed with walky talkies and pistols. I'm still recovering from the experience three days later. All in the line of duty. No sacrifice is too great :sneaky:

PS Glad to see the toll booth has been removed from the border bridge!!

why would you want anything delivered when you can buy it in the supermarkets at a huge saving.

You could find yourself in a no win situation here.If most of the shops are not taken it wont be worth going in.If all of the shops are taken then posibly you wont be able to get in due to all the pokies coming over.just like the petrol station.just a thought

You have a freezer dont you.Your english bread and milk freezes ok.the bagetts freeze and are just as fresh when defrosted. The unopened spanish milk keeps for months.

What do you have against a mobile grocery van?For some residents and holiday rentals it will be a big help until there are supermarkets on site.

It would be a good thing providing the prices are right.and you would expect to pay a little bit more for a personal sevice.we all know this. But the trouble is most english usualy get ripped off for every thing.

Re: COSTA ESURI - AYAMONTE

Was over in Esuri last week and despite weather not being perfect had a lovely week. Is it me or has Ayamonte improved over the last few months? Noticed several new bars and a coffee bar just off the marina selling some really scrumptious cakes and various teas, including "Early Grey". Was going to mention spelling to waitress but thought better of it - sounds better anyway.

What I would like some advise with is payment of Council Tax. I'm on Rago 2 and have not received any notification regarding this but have been told this is now due on Esuri and fines are being issued for late payment. I did go into the offices opposite Solbank (won't even try to spell the name) as I was told they could inform me but they didn't speak English and was told to come back later. As I was leaving early the next day this wasn't possible but I am concerned that I am overdue. Has anybody paid and if so how did you find out the amount and where do you pay? Very grateful for any help.

So.... what you're saying is that rather than use your local supermarket about to open - Eroski - you will prefer to get British products delivered to your home from Ayamonte.

And people on here wonder why others get so exasperated with the folly of your adventure
