heading in freefall towards the gutter again folks, disgraceful. if you don't watch it,i will set my vampires on you. or my lesbians,depending on your inclination. speaking of which, our wall seems to be leaning. nothing to do with vampires or lesbians,but raising the thread out of the gutter i am.
i went to whitby(scene of the dracula landing!!)with my twins once(they were kids then)and sent them into the tourist shop to ask the assistant if she had any info on vampires to give them(pamphlets etc). she told them to bugger off and that she was sick and tired of answering questions about vampires. imagine that.

I worked with a guy who was going out with one of the girls from work, she dumped him for another girl, knocked him back for a while as he always thought of himself as a stud.

this sort of thing never happened to me as i lead a "mostly" sheltered life. but.....in the very early 60's i was a very young and very very very innocent young sailor in singapore. first time abroad.
late night we ended up in a place called bugis street. google it. now bugis street,during the day,was a centre of commerce,selling goodies,food-stuffs etc. but at night its character changed. but as i was young and innocent i didnt know these facts. so when we were sitting at a table drinking,we noticed a table-full of the most glamorous and beautiful girls giving us the eye. one of my more experianced mates,who knew the area well, told me to go to them and ask them to buy me a drink,as this was the custom. so i did. and to my amazement,one of the beautiful "girls" said to me,in the lowest baritone "the boys usually buy me drinks" and the penny dropped.
this happened to me on numerous occassions as i was very naive. no more i say. beware the lesbian and the tranny.(and the vampire but a cross and garlic sees them off).
